Compassionate, in-home euthanasia for large and small animals.

Saying goodbye to a beloved animal is one of the hardest decisions a pet owner or livestock caretaker will ever face. At Lorge Veterinary Services, we provide gentle, respectful end-of-life care in the comfort of your home or farm, where your animal feels safest and most at peace.

We offer in-home euthanasia services for both large and small animals, allowing you to be present in a calm and private environment. Dr. Moriah Lorge takes the time to walk you through the process, answer your questions, and ensure your animal’s final moments are pain-free and dignified.

What to Expect

We know this can be overwhelming, so we aim to make the process as supportive and clear as possible:

Compassionate Communication

Dr. Lorge will speak with you beforehand to discuss your animal’s condition and your concerns. There’s no pressure, just support and guidance.

Sedation for Comfort

Your animal will first receive a gentle sedative to help them fall into a deep, peaceful sleep. This ensures they are relaxed and unaware of the final injection.

Final Injection

Once your pet is resting comfortably, Dr. Lorge will administer the final medication to complete the process in a humane and painless way.

You Choose the Setting

We perform the procedure wherever your animal is most at ease: on the porch, under a favorite tree, or in their usual resting spot.

Cremation & Memorial Options

For cremation, we partner with Heaven Lee Companion, a trusted provider offering a gentle alternative to traditional cremation. With options like customized urns and various memorial pieces, we can walk you through the choices available and help arrange the service that feels right for you.
